Emily Gorecki is a seasoned lighting design professional with 17 years of diverse experience spanning residential, commercial, and landscape lighting. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, she seamlessly blends aesthetic vision with technical expertise to create innovative and functional lighting solutions.
For the past 12 years, Emily has successfully led her own company, delivering customized lighting designs that enhance spaces with both beauty and efficiency. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond her own practice; she actively contributes to the industry as a Board Member for the International Landscape Lighting Institute (ILLI), where she helps shape the future of outdoor illumination.
Emily's passion for education and mentorship has also been evident in her past role as an instructor of Architectural Lighting Design Fundamentals and Practices at both the University of New Haven and Tunxis University, a position she held until 2019. Through teaching, she inspires the next generation of lighting professionals, sharing her deep knowledge of lighting principles, sustainability, and design innovation.
With a reputation for excellence, leadership, and a keen eye for design, Emily continues to push the boundaries of lighting in both practical and artistic applications, ensuring that every project she touches is both visually striking and functionally exceptional.
